Franklin C. "Chip" Evans

Franklin C. “Chip” Evans, 62, of Carlisle, passed away August 21, 2026, at the Hershey Medical Center.

Born February 2, 1964, he was the son of the late Charles N. and Lois J. (Klinger) Evans. He was a graduate of Carlisle High School, class of 1982. Chip then served in the United States Army from 1982-1988. He most recently was employed as a cement truck driver for Pennsy Supply.

He was a member of the Carlisle United Methodist Church.

Surviving Chip is his daughter, Heather L. Bryan and his sister, Karen J. Hill.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
