Flo Keck

January 7, 1929 — December 6, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who left this world just shy of her 97th birthday. A woman of remarkable strength, she lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to family, and quiet resilience. She never complained, even in the hardest of times, and her love was felt by all who knew her.

Born one of eleven children, she grew up understanding the value of family and togetherness. Early in life, she began working at Minerva Yarn, where she would meet the love of her life, Oron. Together, they shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. Oron preceded her in death, and we find comfort knowing they are now reunited.

Throughout her life, she held various jobs, always working tirelessly to provide for her family. She later found her true calling at the Capital Area Intermediate Unit, where she flourished. The children she worked with adored her, and she made a lasting impact on countless young lives.

She was a gifted quilter, a seamless seamstress, and an incredible cook. She also had a playful competitive streak—well known in the family for her gaming skills in Parcheesi, Sorry!, and cards. She loved crossword puzzles and putting puzzles together. Many of our favorite memories were made gathered around the table with her, laughing, learning, and occasionally losing to her clever strategies.

Her hands were rarely still, always creating, caring, or giving. Her home was filled with warmth, lessons, and love—treasures she passed down to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Wesley (Terri) and Steven (Virginia); her grandchildren Christopher, Matthew, Kevin, Heather, Jeremy, and Holly; and her cherished great-grandchildren Alessio, Francesco, Giulianna, Kaiden, Kyle, Knox, Dominick, Emma, Joey, and Nicole.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to her devoted caregiver, Nina, whose compassion and dedication carried her through her final years. Her loving care kept Flo thriving, comfortable, and surrounded with kindness until the very end. The family also wishes to thank Connie and Jody for their love, support, and care throughout the years. Their commitment and kindness meant so much to Flo and to all who loved her.

Her legacy of strength, generosity, humor, and unwavering love will live on in all of us. We will always hold close the life lessons she shared and the example she set throughout her remarkable life.

May she rest in peace in the arms of her beloved Oron.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
