Esther E Warner

Esther Ellen Warner, 93, of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully at Country Meadows on June 6, 2026.

Born in Carlisle, PA, on December 3, 1932, Esther is the daughter of the late John King and Bessie (Miller) King.

Esther is survived by her daughter, Julie Kelly, son, Stuart Warner, sister, Doris Sheriff, and brother-in-law John, sister-in-law, Jean King, and many nieces and nephews.

Esther is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Kenneth Warner. She is also preceded in death by brothers, Lee King and Edward King, and a son-in-law, Gerald Kelley.

Esther enjoyed tending to her flowers and vegetables in her garden, reading, doing puzzles and crocheting. She was an independent housekeeper for local families for years. She also was a caretaker for her son for 48 years.

A service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W Trindle Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Westminster Cemetery, 1159 Newville Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mechanicsburg Area Meals on Wheels and Keystone Human Services.
