Eric L. Pechart

Eric Pechart, 76, of Huntsdale, died Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at his residence.

Born in Carlisle, he was the son of the late Paul and Beaulah (Houck) Pechart

Eric worked for over 30 years in the maintenance department at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, retiring in 2006.

Eric lived a simple and peaceful life, mostly at home. He enjoyed football, baseball and his scratch-off lottery tickets, with $5 Bingo Tickets being his favorite. His greatest joy was taking care of his many Subaru cars, which he kept spotless and in “showroom” condition.

Survivors include his three sons: Eric Pechart, II and Paul Pechart, both of Carlisle and Brian Pechart, of Hanover; his eight grandchildren: Spencer, Xander, Briana, Jayna, Zachary, Kaysey, Lea and Keirsten, as well as his four great grandchildren.

Eric was preceded in death by his wife: Doris “Jeannie” Pechart; his daughter: Angela Zimmerman and his sister: Patty Kushto.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing from 2-3 PM, Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle.

Interment will be held privately.
