Heaven just got a little rowdier!
Dung Hung Nguyen, 73, of Carlisle, entered into eternal peace with God on July 16th, 2026.
Dung was born in Sa Dec Vietnam on September 2nd, 1952.
Dung is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tau Nguyen, daughters, Elizabeth Childs (Nicholas) and Christina Losch (Georgie), grandchildren, Helen Naomi, Georgia Grace, and Levi Nicholas, brother, Nguyen Ngoc Diep, and sister, Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hanh.
Dung is preceded in death by his mother, Le Thi Nghiem, father, Nguyen Van Khoi, sister, Nguyen Thi Nguyet Anh, brother, Nguyen Ngoc Sang, as well as his son, Nicholas Nguyen.
At age 17, Dung enlisted in the military to fight alongside the United States during the Vietnam War. He served in The Republic of Vietnam Navy from 1969 to 1975. He was a canon operator of Warship 07, River Attack Group 23 and 31.
Dung worked his first job at Rillo’s, Carlisle Tire and Rubber and retired with Texas Eastern/Duke Energy as a pipeliner at age 54. He had a passion for hunting and Harleys. He enjoyed meeting with his friends at Panera Bread, the Middlesex Diner and Lin Buffet. Dung was also a member of the Vietnamese Alliance Church of Harrisburg.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 4:00pm-5:00pm, followed by a Celebration of Life, at 5:00pm at the Vietnamese Alliance Church of Harrisburg, 333 S Enola Drive, Enola, PA 17025. Private interment.
