Dorothy L. Turner

Dorothy L. Turner, 80, of Carlisle, died Thursday, May 7, 2026 at her residence.

Born in Mannsville, PA, she was the daughter of Clyde Shotsberger and the late Romaine (Cleland) Shotsberger.

Dorothy liked being outside in the sun and watching the hummingbirds. She liked to crochet, enjoyed doing puzzles and listening to music. She also loved taking care of any and all stray animals. Dorothy liked going on cruises, especially to the Caribbean and Bermuda.

Survivors include her children: Donna L. Turner, of Carlisle, Tracie (Crystal) Turner, of Mt. Holly, Alisa L. (Randy) Mumper, of Shermansdale, Kevin E. (Patty) Turner, of New Bloomfield, Christie A. (Matthew) Kaseman, of Carlisle; her 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren as well as her sister: Kathleen Lynch, of Carlisle. Dorothy is also survived by her partner of 43 years: Barry Turner.

Dorothy was preceded in death her daughter: Stacie Mae Turner.

Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
