Dorothy P. Danner

Dorothy P. Danner, 80, of Carlisle died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, at her home.

Born Dec. 5, 1930, in Perry County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Miller Zeigler and the widow of Herbert M. Danner.

Surviving are two sons, Herbert M. Danner Jr. of Clearfield and Kevin M. Danner of Carlisle; two daughters, Wanda L. Lynch (and husband Ernie) of Shippensburg and Deborah F. Hershey (and husband, Paul) of Plainfield; two sisters, Fay Barrick of Carlisle and Joy Ann Reisinger of Perry County; two brothers, Keith "Butch" Zeigler of Perry County and Newell Zeigler of Carlisle; 10 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

At Dorothy's request, there will be no viewing or service.
