Dennis Rickard

Dennis M. “Mike” Rickard, 71, of Dillsburg, died Saturday, April 26, 2025 at UPMC West Shore.

Born in Altoona, he was the son of the late Chester and Pauline (McGraw) Rickard.

Mike served in the US Army during the Vietnam War as an Airborne Ranger. He was also an active member of American Legion Post #26 and VFW, both in Dillsburg.

He enjoyed cooking and hunting and was an avid Pittsburgh (professional) and Penn State fan.

Survivors include his two sons: Adam Rickard (Angela), Chester “Chet” Rickard; his four grandchildren: Sadie Turner (Gunner), Austin Rickard, Georjean Rickard and Caitlyn Rickard; his two great grandchildren: Maibree and Fowler as well as his sister: Tine Stock (Ron.)

Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
