Dennis L. Snyder

Dennis L. Snyder, 73, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Carlisle, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Wilma (Beam) Snyder and the loving husband of 49 years to Judy (Sheaffer) Snyder.

Dennis enjoyed gardening and working on and driving his 1949 Ford tractor, which he had from his youth. He also loved his pets and enjoyed spending time down at the Outer Banks.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter: Kim Landvater, her husband, Adam, of Liverpool; his son: Eric Snyder, his wife, Melissa, of Duncannon; his grandchildren: Brenden George, of South Carolina, Killiann George, of Virginia, Raegan Landvater and Jacob Landvater, both of Liverpool, Dylan Snyder and Zoe Snyder, both of Duncannon; his sister: Debbie Kaempf, her husband, Doug, of Maryland and his brother: Daniel Snyder, of Mt. Holly.

Dennis was preceded in death by his sister: Darlene Schwartz.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service 11 AM Monday, November 6, 2023 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 10 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Goodyear Cemetery, Gardners.
