Denise J. Peirce, 71, a devoted servant of God, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 25th, 2026. While the family is much grieved, we take comfort knowing she is eternally home in the arms of Jesus. Denise exemplified a Christ-like love. She was kind, patient, forgiving and charitable. Denise built a legacy of generosity and service that will forever uplift and inspire her family and friends.
Denise was born October 9th, 1954, in Harrisburg, to the late Clinton Timmins and Phyllis (Stoner) Timmins.
Denise was a graduate of Red Land High School and very soon after graduating, employed by Pennsylvania Dutch Megs Company (later acquired by Lipton, and later acquired by Unilever), where she retired after 40 plus years of service.
Denise is survived by her children, Michelle Peirce (Glenn Butts) of Harrisburg and Kyle Peirce (Michelle Munger) of Frederick, MD; and grandchildren, Nolan, Rylie and Avery Peirce; two sisters; Dawn Timmins of Tower City, and Deanna Bell of Lewisberry; a brother, Clinton Timmins and his wife Traci of Sacramento; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Denise is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Peirce.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday February 3rd, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Hoffman Funeral &Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle.
Memorial contributions may be made in Denise's honor to the Harrisburg Salvation Army.
