David Norman Browne, age 61, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at his residence.
He was born on September 29, 1954 in Harrisburg to the late David and Helen Phlegar Browne.
Dave graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. He retired from the Harrisburg Patriot News after over 30 years of service.
He is survived by his brothers, Barry L. (and wife Lynne) Browne of Harrisburg and Steven M. (and companion Diana) Browne of Carlisle; and a nephew, Louis D. (and wife Carolyn) Browne of Philadelphia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Desautel.
