Craig Stuart Mccorkel

Craig Stuart McCorkel, age 54, of Carlisle, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at his residence.
He was born September 21, 1963 in Hershey to Paul W. McCorkel of Myerstown and the late Mary M. (Ewing) McCorkel.
Craig was a self-employed general contractor for much of his life. He later worked for various concrete and paving companies, including Stonesifer Paving, Inc. and was currently employed by Acer Paving, Inc. Craig had a great work ethic and never missed a day of work. He was a quiet, humble man who would help anyone he could.
He is survived by: his wife of 31 years, Bety Jean (Church) McCorkel of Carlisle; a daughter, Bridgette McCorkel of Carlisle; two brothers, Paul McCorkel of Hamburg and Eric (wife Amy) McCorkel of Stillwater; a sister, Linda (husband Paul) McCorkel-Hess of Myerstown; a grandson, Kevin; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, Craig was preceded in death by a brother, Jack McCorkel.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the services.
