Craig A. Darhower, 66, of Shippensburg, died peacefully Thursday, July 3, 2025 at UPMC Carlisle.
Born in Tampa, Florida, he was the son of the late Urie and Violet (Bouder) Darhower and the husband of 27 years to LaDonna (Davis) Darhower.
Craig was a 1976 graduate of Boiling Springs High School and loved fishing, shooting pool, flowers and feeding the birds.
He worked for 34 years at Carlisle Tire & Wheel and also worked at BB’s Grocery Outlet in Newburgh.
He was an active member of the Minnequa Club of Shippensburg, American Legion Post # 223, Shippensburg, Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168, Shippensburg and The Carlisle Club and enjoyed spending time at each club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother: Larry (Shela) Darhower, of Utah, many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his children from a previous marriage: Paula Wiser and Neil A. Darhower, both of Newville.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service 11:00 am Friday, July 11, 2025 at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where Pastor Randy Zook will officiate. The family will greet guests after 10:00 am prior to the service. Interment will follow in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
