Connie R Horn

Connie R. Horn, 83, of Carlisle, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 8th, 2025.

Born on May 9th, 1942, in Mechanicsburg, Connie is the daughter of the late Glen and Mary (Handshew) Crary.

Connie is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Floyd K. Horn. She is also survived by her daughter, Michelle Ellis (Don), son, Scott A. Horn Sr. (Becky), daughter, Lisa Horn (Ernie), granddaughter, Megan Owens (Nathan), grandson, Houston Ellis, granddaughter, Rachel Ellis, grandson, Scott Horn Jr., great grandson, Dustin Owens, great grandson, Landon Owens, great granddaughter, Lindsay Owens, brother, Mike Crary, sister, Esther Younce, sister, Mary Bower (John), and many nieces and nephews.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Mary, brother, Gary Crary, and great granddaughter, Makenzie Owens.

Connie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers in the flower beds, cooking, baking, and going with her family to their yearly Rehoboth Beach trips. Connie graduated from Carlisle High School in the class of 1960. She worked at the Embers Convention Center for 40 years before retirement.

A visitation will take place on Monday, December 15th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., immediately following the visitation. Burial will be private at Westminster Cemetery. Pastor Dan Mikesell will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Connie's name to the charity of your choice.
