Christa Maria Elliott

Christa Maria Elliott, 85, of Carlisle, passed away on January 10th, 2026.

Born on September 17th, 1940, in Wunsdorf, Germany, Christa is the daughter of the late Ernst and Herta (Kabrowski) Kilian.

Christa is survived by her two children, Victor C. (wife Annette) Elliott of Carlisle, and Brenda S. (husband Jay) Hallett of Carlisle; 7 grandchildren, Elijah, Thea, Andrew, Shane, Lauren, Elisha, and Charles; 1 great-grandchild, Adelyn, and siblings, Barbel Kappes of Seattle, WA, and Dina Bakeman, of Lemoyne, PA.

Christa is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Charles E. "Pap" Elliott, whom she met in Germany in 1960, then married in 1961. She is also preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Heidi Marriott.

Christa enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, crafting, doing puzzles, gardening, and spending time with her "granddogs." She worked for more than 20 years at the Mechanicsburg Navy Depot before her retirement. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A visitation will take place on Friday, January 16th, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following at 6:30 p.m. at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W Trindle Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013. Interment will take place at the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Homeland Hospice of Central Pennsylvania or Speranza Animal Rescue.
