Charles Marpoe

Charles "Skip" W. Marpoe Jr, 81, of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully at his daughter's home on August 21st, 2025.

Charles was born in Philadelphia, on June 27th, 1944, to the late Charles W. Marpoe Sr and Margaret "Peg" (O'brien) Marpoe.

Charles is survived by his son, Sean Marpoe  (Andrea), his daughter, Danielle Steele (Andy), his three grandsons, Brandon, Marcus, and Joshua, 5 great grandchildren, and his 5 nieces and nephews.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Carol (Stoner) Marpoe.

Charles worked in law enforcement as a Constable for many years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police #76, as well as the Masonic Lodge #260. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting guns.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 28th, 2025, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Cemetery, 343 McClures Gap Road, Carlisle, PA 17013.
