Charles W. Liebert

Charles Willam Liebert (84) of Carlisle, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2026 in Carlisle. He was born on September 2, 1941 in Amityville, NY to Joachim and Edith (Shuster) Liebert. Charlie was full of life and passionate about sharing his faith. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Theresa (Perrone) Liebert, his daughter, Melanie (Mike) Endres and 5 grandchildren: Alyssa, Jeffrey, Colson, Joey, and Steven, as well as his sisters, Rosemarie Skuggevig and Joyce Matuza. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, brother, Joachim Liebert, Jr., and beloved son, Keith Liebert.

Charlie graduated with a BS in Chemistry from Fairleigh Dickinson in 1966 and an MBA in Marketing from Iona College in 1970. He worked for Lever Brothers/CIBA Geigy Co. from 1964 until his retirement in 1994. However, the focus of his life since May of 1977 has been to serve his LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. When Charlie was 35, he was saved by grace through faith in Jesus, and he became particularly devoted to understanding and sharing his wealth of knowledge about Young Earth Creationism. In his later years, Charlie authored several books, participated in Toastmasters and Bible studies, and was a devoted member of his church, Redeemer OPC. While he was a gifted speaker, teacher, and author, he will be remembered most as a loving husband to Terry, father to Keith and Melanie, and true friend to many.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 1:00 pm with a reception to follow at Redeemer OP Church, 101 Petersburg Road, Carlisle, PA 17013. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Redeemer Orthodox Presbyterian Church at the address above.
