Carolyn Sue Palmer

Carolyn Sue Palmer age, 72 passed on August 11, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born Friday August 17, 1951, in Canoe, Kentucky to the late Donald and Callie (Hall) Turner.

Carolyn was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. She retired from Highmark Blue Shield. She was an avid traveler visiting many countries. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, painting, and the outdoors. Monthly she would go antiquing with her friends and would often visit the Country Cupboard in Lewisburg, PA. She collected Longaberger Baskets and vintage glassware. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was the oldest of nine children.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Kenneth H. Palmer, daughter Jennifer (Chris), siblings: Brenda Herrington, Donald Turner, Barbara Turner, Rebecca Luttrell, Jalia Oaks and Hope Turner. She was preceded in death by siblings Linda Napier, Willard Turner, and Cathy Turner. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the Caregivers and Nurses from Residential Hospice and Synergy HomeCare.

Viewing and Funeral Service will be held at Hoffman Funeral and Cremation 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013 on Friday August 16, 2024. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 followed by the service. Pastor Dick Reese will be officiating. She will be laid to rest at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Monday August 19, 2024.
