Carolyn O. Burgard, 92, passed away on August 19, 2024, at the Hollidaysburg Veterans’ Home in Duncansville, PA.
Carolyn was born on Tuesday March 2, 1932, in Mercersburg to the late William W. and Netha M. (Pittman) Ocker.
She loved cooking, baking, the beach and especially gardening. She was part of the garden club basically her whole life. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Carlisle Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Carolyn is survived by daughters: Tanya (husband Michael) Doporcyk, Terri (husband Robert) Reisinger and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Richard L. Burgard.
Private graveside services will be held by the family with Pastor Matt Purdy officiating.
