Brian Paul Morrison, known to friends and family as "Bman," a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on March 18, 2026.
Born September 14, 1962 in Carlisle, he was the son of Sharon Ann Morrison (deceased) and Donald (Sonny) L. Morrison. Bman is survived by the love of his life, Chiquita (Chickie), his daughter Brianna (Joseph) Woods, his four grandchildren Collin, Luke, Evan, and Emma, and a sister Dawn Fintel (Dean).
Brian grew up in Carlisle, where he graduated in 1980 from Carlisle High School. He then joined the United States Air Force in August 1980 where he trained to be a Civil Engineering Heavy Equipment Operator, stationed in various locations to include Red Horse at Osan Air Force Base where he met his wife. Upon leaving the service he obtained a position with the Borough of Carlisle operating heavy equipment until disability retirement in November 1997 due to Multiple Sclerosis.
Brian had a passion for running, softball, hunting and shooting pool until Multiple Sclerosis took its toll. He kept a smile on his face and cracked jokes until the end. His kindness, generosity, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him. Brian was a proud member of the Carlisle Veterans of Foreign Wars 477 and the American Veterans Post 274.
Family and friends are invited to attend Bman’s funeral at Saint Patrick’s Church, 85 Marsh Drive on March 24, 2026 at 11 a.m., with a luncheon to follow in the Parish Social Hall.
Burial will be at Fort Indiantown Gap at a date convenient for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warriors Project Wounded Warrior Project - Donate or the Multiple Sclerosis Association Donate to MSAA | Support the MS Community.
