Brian James Anderson

Brian James Anderson, 51, of Mechanicsburg passed away at his home on July 29, 2025. He went home to his heavenly father surrounded by his family.

Brian was born in Carlisle, PA on Tuesday September 4, 1973, to Kenneth Anderson and the late Joan (Haynes) Anderson. He was a member of the of Cumberland Valley High School Class of 1992 where he participated in marching band. He earned an associate's degree in architecture from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University where he was a member of Alpha Chi Rho fraternity.

Brian was an avid reader and enjoyed building World War II scale models. He worked as a project manager for BAE Systems in Hanover, PA and was an active member of Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Camp Hill prior to his illness. He loved spending time with his nephew.

He is survived by his father Ken, brother Peter (wife Jennifer) Anderson of Carlisle, nephew Kaelan Anderson and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.

A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday August 16, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church 777 W North Street Carlisle, PA 17013 with Pastor Kent Creason officiating. A visitation will be held for 9:30 until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
