Bonita Getz

Bonita Louise Getz, 74, of Newville, passed away December 9, 2025, at the Hershey Medical Center.

Born January 28, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Ray Raymond and Ethel (Carey) Myers Sr. She was employed as a paralegal for Smigel, Anderson & Sachs before retiring. She was also a licensed beautician.

Surviving Bonita is her husband, Robert A. Getz Jr.; children; Michelle Myers, Julie Luker (Trevor) and Robert A. Getz III (Breanna Farner); grandchildren; Aubrey Cornman (Evan), Brody Leedom, Reese Getz, Willow Luker, Isabelle Rappa, Lily Luker and Kynley Getz; great-grandchildren; Corinne Cornman and Leanne Cornman; siblings; Robert Myers, Mildred Deitch and Margaret Gruber.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, Ray Raymond Myers Jr., Kenneth Myers, John Myers, Charles Myers, Mary Jane Wagner and Kay Myers.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 2pm at Hoffman Funeral and Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Rd. Carlisle, PA 17013. There will be a visitation from 1pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
