Betty Hippert

Betty Hippert, 95, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at her residence.

Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Layton and Annie (Ritchey) Conover and wife of the late Ralph Hippert, who passed away in 2007.

Betty was a gentle soul who loved children, reading, eating out, playing bridge, traveling to different locations and visiting with her neighbors and friends. But most of all she loved being with “Mija,” her dog.

Betty is survived by her son: Tony (Laurie) Hippert; her daughter: Regan Pledger; her grandchildren: Daniel (Carey) Hippert, Carl Pledger, Matthew Pledger as well as her four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother: Samuel Conover and her sister: Kate Lukens.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 12 pm Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation Ltd., 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 11 am prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in St. Patrick Cemetery, Carlisle.
