Alma Boldosser

Alma E. Boldosser, age 91, of Carlisle, died Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Chapel Pointe.

Born in Cumberland County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Clara (Thumma) Railing and wife of the late David L. Boldosser, Sr., who passed away in 2019.

Alma and David had been residents of Chapel Pointe for over 20 years before his passing. They were very involved with the many activities there.

She enjoyed sewing and loved to travel with David in their camper, traveling to almost every state.

Alma was also a very active member of Huntsdale Church of the Brethren, where, in her past years, was a youth group leader. Church was very important to her.

Surviving are her children: David L. Boldosser, his wife, LeAnne, of Aspers, Dianne L. Cornman, her husband, David, of Newburg, Dora L. Kramer, her husband, Merle, of Shippensburg; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Alma was predeceased by her son: Daniel and her siblings: Paul, Joseph, Calvin, Walter, Dorothy and Esther.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 12:00 pm prior to the service. Interment will be held in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Alma’s name may be made to Huntsdale Church of the Brethren, 170 Church Road, Carlisle, PA 17015.
