Winifred E. "Winnie" Hartz

Winifred E. Hartz, 94, formerly of Boiling Springs, (Churchtown), died December 4, 2020. Since May of 2007, she was a resident of the Church of God Home, Carlisle, PA
Born January 21, 1926, in Monroe Township, she was the daughter of the late William and Edith (Bomberger) Hartz.
Winnie was a 1944 Graduate of Boiling Springs High School. She was employed by the PA Highway Department, Harrisburg, PA, for 11 years. She later retired from the Cumberland County Court House after 33 years of service in the Tax Assessment Office. Winnie enjoyed playing softball, camping, outside gardening, and watching baseball. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Boiling Springs, PA since 1973.
Arrangements were made by Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, Carlisle, PA. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Boiling Springs, PA with Rev. Deborah L. Brumbaugh as the officiant.
