Warren P. White

Warren P. White, 90, of Carlisle, died Friday October 25, 2013 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born August 6, 1923 in Jamestown, ND he was the son of the late Frank and Evelyn Hunter White and widower of Doris E. Rohweder.
Warren proudly served his country during WWII in the US Navy. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and from Harvard Business School. His career included working in the Naval Supply Corps., as a business man, in Manhattan and as a graduate school teacher at Rensselaer Poly Technical Institute.
He is survived by: one son, Jonathan White and wife Sherri of Grapevine, TX; one daughter, Sharon L. White of Carlisle and one sister, Frances Solberg and husband Clayton of Mankato, MN. Warren was preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday October 31, 2013 at Second Presbyterian Church, Carlisle with the Rev's. Jennifer J. McKenna and Jeffrey W. Gibelius co-officiating Burial will be private and at the families convenience at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Grantville.
Arrangements are being handled by Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 219 N. Hanover St. Carlisle, PA 17013.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Warren to Second Presbyterian Church, 528 Garland Dr. Carlisle, PA 17013.
