Victoria “Vickiâ€Â L. Miller, 63, of Newville, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born November 10, 1948 in Cleveland, OH, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret Allen Szczypta.
Vicki was formerly employed by GS Electric, Carlisle and later started a small craft business with her husband, Richard. In her free time she enjoyed traveling to Potter County with her husband and friends to ride four wheelers and relax. She will be sadly missed by all of her friends and family.
Surviving are her husband of 22 years, Richard E. Miller of Newville; one son, Mel Wolfe (and wife, Teena) of Johnson City, NY; one daughter, Melanie Calaman of Newville; one step-son, Richie Miller of Carlisle; one step-daughter, Tammy Baughman, Mechanicsburg; two brothers, Jack Szczypta (and wife, Shirley) of Shippensburg, and Bob Szczypta (and wife, Shirl) of South Port, NC; one sister, Peggy Wilson of Mechanicsburg; one half-sister, Margie Smith (and husband, Bert) of Panama City, FL; two half-brothers, Bert Davis of Hemet, CA and Billy Davis of Harrisburg; six grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a. m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
