Velva B. Lebo

Velva B. Lebo, age 77, of Carlisle, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at her residence.
She was born July 14, 1939 in Harrisburg to the late Merle and Margaret (Kline) Barrick.
Velva was a 1957 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and retired from Dickinson College after working in the circulation library. She was a member of Carlisle United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Franklin Lebo of Carlisle; two children, Thomas F. (and wife Rebecca) Lebo, Jr. of Carlisle and Mark A. (and wife Jamie) Lebo of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Griffin and Savannah; and two sisters, Vesta (and husband Marlin) Calaman of Carlisle and Linda (and husband William) Durham of Boiling Springs.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Bongiorno Conference Center, 430 Union Hall Road, Carlisle, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Road, Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002.
