Tina Lynne Toombs

Tina Lynne Toombs, 54, of Landisburg, PA passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore Hospital.

Born on March 15, 1965 in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman Weigle and Charlotte Myers.

Tina enjoyed life to the fullest. She was an excellent caretaker, offering her assistance and support to anyone in need. Her caretaking skills made her a wonderful Personal Care Assistant with Visiting Angels. Tina offered her advice to anyone that asked and even those that didn’t ask. She was kindhearted, compassionate and a loving woman. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, camping, the beach, and venturing on road trips. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons, Nathan and Nickolas and her loving husband and best friend, Tommy.

Tina is survived by her husband, Tommy Toombs of Landisburg; daughter, Sammi Jo Stone of Landisburg; grandchildren, Nathan and Nicholas; five brothers and two sisters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Cory Stone and sister, RuthAnn “Sade” Shughart.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tina’s name to Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way #270, Harrisburg, PA 17110.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Dann Caldwell officiating. A viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the start of the service.
