Thomas G. Myers

Thomas G. Myers, age 58, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at his residence.
He was born August 31, 1957 in Dillsburg, PA to the late Thomas Royal and Ida Dorothy (Miller) Myers.
Thomas was a 1976 graduate of Northern High School in Dillsburg. He was employed by Waggoner's Fabrication and Millwright, LLC of Mt. Holly Springs as a welder/fabricator. Thomas enjoyed fishing, hunting, beekeeping, gardening and all things outdoors. He was very involved in the Boy Scouts of America in various leadership roles.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharon (Clelan) Myers of Carlisle; a son, Andrew Myers (and his significant other Amanda) of Newville; five siblings, Kenneth (and wife Margaret) Schoffstall of Dillsburg, Daniel (and wife Twila) Schoffstall of Boiling Springs, Sally (and husband Barry) Speck of Boiling Springs, Becky Eshleman of Mechanicsburg and Shirley Watts of Dillsburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Pastor Don Snyder officiating. Interment will be at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, There will be a visitation on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
