Terry L. Bishop

Terry L. Bishop, 68, of Carlisle died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born December 14, 1944 in Mechanicsburg, he was a son of the late Francis J. and Verna E. Vogelsong Bishop.
He was a member of New Hope First Church of God, Carlisle. Terry is a retired USMC veteran who served in Vietnam.
Surviving are one son, Terry L. Bishop (and wife, Jackie) of Carlisle; one daughter, Michelle Duncan (and husband, Mike) of Carlisle; two brothers, Francis M. Bishop (and wife, Joyce) of Mechanicsburg and David Bishop (and wife, Shirley) of Shippensburg; two sisters, Nancy Sweeney and Shirley Smith both of Carlisle; three granddaughters; one grandson and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Bishop.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 7, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Dennis Killinger officiating. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
