Sharon L. Wolf

Sharon L. Wolf, 59, of Carlisle died Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at her home.

Born Aug. 14, 1952, in Bellefonte, she was a daughter of the late John K. Sr. and Louise Whitehead Poorman and the widow of the late Richard Wolf.

She was employed as a CNA for Christian Companion Senior Care. She was a member of Allison United Methodist Church, where she was also in the senior choir. She was a volunteer for Project SHARE, Carlisle.

Surviving are one son, Barry J. Wolf of Carlisle; one brother, John Kelly Poorman Jr. of Boalsburg; two sisters, Barbara A. Poorman of Pine Grove Mills and Linda L. Gibboney of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, at Allison United Methodist Church, 99 Mooreland Ave., Carlisle, with the Rev. Dr. Paul Herring officiating.
