Scott Alan Runk

Scott Alan Runk, 46, of Plainfield, died Saturday, May 12, 2013 at his home.
Born September 13, 1966 in Carlisle, he was a son of Loretta Fay Swarner Runk and the late Larry James Runk.
Scott attended ITT Technical Institute and also Harrisburg Area Community College. He worked for UniLever Warehouse in Penn Township and previously at Giant Distribution, Carlisle. Scott liked gardening, camping, and working on and around his home. He could play any string instrument and won awards for playing the banjo.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his brother, Larry J. Runk II; his niece, Sarah Runk; and nephew, Jimmy Runk all of Millerstown.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Ed Roman officiating. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Mechanicsburg. A viewing will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
