Ronald E. Paulus

Ronald E. Paulus, 69, of Carlisle, died Monday, August 4, 2014 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born October 29, 1944 in Carroll Township, Perry County, he was a son of the late George Brady Paulus and Ruth Catherine Miller Paulus.
He retired from Allen Distribution of Carlisle. He formerly worked for the Carnation Corp. and ECD-Trucking Co. He attended Tree of Life Church, Carlisle. He was a member of Carlisle Moose Center #761; a life member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1299, Carlisle and a member of the VFW Post #477, Carlisle where he enjoyed his morning coffee with his friends. He enjoyed the outdoors and most of all spending time with his loving wife and family.
Surviving are his wife of twenty-eight years, Anna E. Cline Paulus of Carlisle; five daughters: Penny Paulus (and companion, Ed Carpenter) of Carlisle, Cheryl Fry (and husband, Steve) of Carlisle, Wanda McCurdy (and husband, Joe) of Loysville, Linda Jumper (and husband, Roger) of Shippensburg and Cathy Barr of Virginia; one son, Ronald Paulus (and wife, Laura) of Peckville; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, George Paulus and one sister Shirley Wert.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. David S. Herr officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
