Rodney E. Morton

Rodney E. Morton, age 59, of Mechanicsburg, PA passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 following a motor vehicle accident.
He was born December 10, 1956 in Carlisle to Harriet Ellen Morton White.
He was a graduate of Carlisle High School and Shippensburg University. He retired from the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot. Rodney loved to travel and loved animals, especially his dog.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his husband, Roberto Chiodetti of Mechanicsburg; sister, Debra K. White Rhoades (and husband Gary) of Carlisle; two nephews, Jeff and Brian Rhoades; and several cousins and an aunt. Rodney was preceded in death by his step-father, Dale R. White, Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA. Burial will be at Young's United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shermans Dale. There will be a viewing from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services.
