Robert W. Kauffman

Robert W. Kauffman, age 74, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
He was born December 15, 1942 in Cumberland County to the late John and Edith (Cline) Kauffman.
Robert will be remembered for his daily routine of quietly walking from the shelter where he laid his head to the soup kitchen where he ate his meals. Dressed in a button-down shirt and permanent press slacks Robert blended in with the sleepy little town of Carlisle. His habits varied minimally, and for that Robert will be missed by the countless people who interacted with him daily. 
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Second Presbyterian Church, 528 Garland Drive, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Jennifer J. McKenna officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Carlisle CARES in Robert Kauffman's name at 50 West Penn Street Carlisle, PA 17013.
