Richard E. "Rick" Miller, Jr.

Richard E. “Rick” Miller, Jr., 69, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at his residence.
He was born June 3, 1951 in Carlisle to the late Richard E., Sr. and Valetta (Wickard) Miller.
Rick was a 1969 graduate of Carlisle Area High School. He honorably served his country in the US Army during Vietnam. Rick was currently working at the NSA Mechanicsburg where he has been employed for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, cutting firewood, and was always happy when he was spending time with his grandchildren.
Rick is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Bonnie L. (Schlusser) Miller of Carlisle; one son, Todd R. (wife Katie) Miller of Carlisle; three grandchildren, Peyton, Brayden, and Carly Miller; two sisters, Joyce (husband Steve) Doebler of Gardners and Wanda (husband Bob) Durf of Mt. Holly Springs.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family at Westminster Memorial Gardens. As mandated by Governor Wolfe maximum capacity during gatherings is restricted and you may be asked to wait at the door when you arrive until the numbers allow for your entrance.
