Ralph Adam (Jim) Bream

Ralph "Jim" Adam Bream, 77, of Carlisle, died Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born February 20, 1936 in Gardners, he was a son of the late Ralph Andrew and Helen Barbara Laughman Bream.
He was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1954. He worked as a laborer for many companies. He attended Greater Hope Baptist Church, Carlisle and was involved in Brethren Volunteer Service Unit 31. He was an active minister over his involvement with many churches. He attended Bethany Biblical Seminary of Chicago, IL and Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, VA. He was currently working on his Bachelor's Degree at Dickinson College. He enjoyed his trips to the ocean with his family going on deep sea fishing trips. In his retirement he enjoyed being a "gentleman farmer".
Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca A. Chapman-Sellman of Troy, OH; a son, Keith D. Bream (and wife, Laurie) of Carlisle; three brothers: Roger D. Bream (and wife, Mary) of Newville, Lynn J. Bream (and wife, Joan) of Shippensburg, and Rev. Jonathan W. Bream (and wife, Debra) of Carlisle; and four sisters: Caroline Calaman of Carlisle, Josephine Bream of Carlisle, Virginia E. Stambaugh (and husband, Richard) of New Bloomfield, and Alma Boldosser (and husband, David) of Carlisle. And also many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold F. Bream and a sister, Cindy Stambaugh.
A future memorial services will be held in the spring. To be announced at a later time.
