Phyllis W. Moose

Phyllis W. Moose, 82, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023, at Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community.

She was born October 5, 1940, in Dauphin County to the late George B. and Margaret C. (Fortney) Sheesley.

Phyllis was retired from PR Hoffman after many years of employment. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to many fun places. Myrtle Beach was always one of their favorites. Phyllis spent a lot of time outdoors tending to her garden and her flower beds. She loved her family and always looked forward to family gatherings.

Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Russell E. Moose of Carlisle; three children, Joyce (husband Al) Cope of Harrisburg, Ken Feuchtenberger (Companion Gardell Peters) of Duncannon, and Jeff (wife Pam) Feuchtenberger of Carlisle; three grandchildren, Keith Hench, Jeffrey Feuchtenberger, and Kenny Feuchtenberger; one great-granddaughter, Ciera Feuchtenberger; and one great-great granddaughter, Annabel Lee Phyllis Ackley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, June M. Reed.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
