Phyllis J. Barrick

Phyllis J. Barrick, 76, of Carlisle, died Monday, January 26, 2015 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center with her family by her side.
Born March 21, 1938 in Carlisle, a daughter of the late Grant W. and Carrie E. Mountz Lebo.
She was one of the owners of the Barrick's Family Dairy of Carlisle. She was a member of the Cumberland County Farm Women's Group #15 and the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau. She was a very active Bingo player, enjoyed traveling and going to the beaches and mountains with her loving family. Phyllis was a good cook and sewer in her day. She had a very good "green thumb". Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a very important part of her life.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-years, Clyde W. Barrick of Carlisle; two sons, Victor G. Barrick (wife, Cheryl A.) of Carlisle and David C. Barrick (wife, Jill M.) of Carlisle; two daughters, Judy E. Allen (husband, Laird R. Allen III) of Selinsgrove and Jill L. Gensimore (husband, Jay) of Loysville; two brothers, Wayne and Leon Lebo, both of Carlisle; three sisters: Faye Koontz of Shippensburg, Gladys Hoover of McConnellsburg and Virginia McCoy of Carlisle; seven grandsons: Jeremy Barrick, Joshua Barrick, Grant Allen, Michael Gensimore, Jacob Gensimore, Hunter Barrick, and Blake Barrick; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 30, 2015 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Matthew Plant officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015 and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
