Penny Sorensen

Penny Sorensen, 46, of Carlisle, died January 27, 2012 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born April 4, 1965 in Carlisle, a daughter of Boyd Hood and the late Betty Welch Hood.
Surviving are her husband of 8 years, Neal Sorensen II of Carlisle; one son, Chris Welch of Carlisle; one daughter, Desiray Sorensen of Mechanicsburg; grandmother, Charlotte Showers of Carlisle; and step-father, Dale Barrick of Carlisle.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Major David Wetzel officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Newville. A viewing will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday February 3, 2012 at the funeral home.
