Peggy J. Lear

Peggy J. Lear, age 75, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015 at her residence.
She was born in Carlisle on March 11, 1940 to the late Harry T. and Helen M. Horn Fry.
Peggy graduated from Boiling Springs High School, Class of 1958. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Carlisle. Peggy was a homemaker who loved to cook, bake, shop and crochet and especially loved spending time with her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Blaine B. Lear of Carlisle; two sons, Michael L. (and wife Tracy) Lear and Randy B. (and wife Holly) Lear, all of Mt. Holly Springs; two daughters, Tracy M. (and husband Jeffrey) Rupp of Mt. Holly Springs and Kathy J. (and husband Jeremy) Baker of Walnut Bottom; two brothers, John Fry of Opossum Lake and William Fry of Carlisle; a sister, Patsy Dietrich of Carlisle; eleven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at First United Church of Christ, 30 N. Pitt Street, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Chris Schwab and Rev. Rachel Schwab officiating. There will be a visitation at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
