Paul M. Estep

Paul M. Estep, age 83, of Carlisle, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at his residence.
He was born December 21, 1933 in York County, PA to the late Paul H. and Melissa (Hake) Estep.
Paul was a technical school graduate in electrical motors. He was the owner/operator of Estep Electrical and worked as an electrical contractor for over 40 years. He enjoyed: model trains, hunting in Potter County, riding motorcycles, winters in Florida and spending summers camping in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Paul was a past Master of Cumberland Star Lodge; Shriners motorcycle unit; Lions Club of Carlisle; member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Kingstown; and former member of the BPOE, Carlisle. He was a loving and supportive father and his grandchildren held a special place in his heart.
He is survived by: his companion of 28 years, Grace Johnston of Carlisle; three children, Paul "Skip" (and wife Mary E.) Estep of Carlisle, Vicki J. (and husband Andrew J.) Steinour of Carlisle and Suzanne (and husband Patrick J.) Marron of Ashburn, VA; a sister, Delores (and husband Sam) Stago of El Salvador; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and former wife, Catharine Estep. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a sister, Alfreda Hill.
There will be a visitation from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA. Memorial services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Kugle officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
