Paul F. Jumper, Sr., 79, of Carlisle died Friday, December 5, 2014 at his home.
Born February 4, 1935 in Mt. Holly Springs, a son of the late Frank and Stella Garner Jumper.
Paul worked at Frog, Switch Manufacturing of Carlisle for forty-two years. Paul did a lot of woodworking and like to go hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-six years, Darlene Jumper of Carlisle; three children: Paul Jumper, JR. of Carlisle, John Jumper (wife, Lisa) of Mt. Holly Springs, and Deborah Darr (husband, Gary) of New Kingstown; two sisters, Janet Clark (husband, Roger) of Carlisle and Dorothy Wingade of Halifax; one brother, Marlin Jumper of Carlisle; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son, Terry Jumper; great-grandson, Michael Allen Jumper; brothers and sisters: Violet Wingade, Catherine Brehm, Ronald Jumper, Walter Jumper, and Lester Jumper.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Timothy D. Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
