Paul A Wagner, age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home in Carlisle, PA on April 29 2023. He was born on June 13 1930 in Newville, PA to the late Kenneth E Wagner and Clara E (Jumper).

Paul worked for Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens cemetery in Carlisle for many years. He Served our country Honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He loved watching Nascar and was a big Washington Redskins fan. His family will remember him as a hardworking, loving, and caring man who enjoyed cooking and going on camping trips with them. Paul also enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and spending time with his friends and family. He was known for his great sense of humor and kindness towards others. He was an active member of the VFW post 477, White Circle, and the Eagles of Carlisle, PA. He was a former member of the Mount Rock United Methodist Church of Newville, PA. Paul will be fondly remembered by his family, as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is survived by his three daughters, Linda Byers of Boiling Springs, PA, Debra Anderson and her husband David of Carlisle, PA, and Cheryl Lehman and her husband David of Newville, PA, three step children, Deborah Smith of Carlisle, PA, Donna Mahanes of Carlisle, PA, and David Whare of RI, and his four siblings, Roger Wagner and his wife LaRue (Deer) of Carlisle, PA, Leroy Wagner and his wife Michelle (Love) of York, PA, Kenneth Wagner of GA, and Darlene Brown of Carlisle, PA. He is also survived by Ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by two wives Charlotte (Wilcox) and Jean (Steinhauer), three brothers, Earnest, Oren, and Jay, a stepson Danny Whare, and a step grandchild Jesse Smith.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Monday May 8th 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM, at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory (2020 W Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA 17013). Funeral services will be held in honor of Paul on Tuesday May 9th 2023 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with a viewing held for family and friends one hour prior to the services. Burial and Committal services will be held immediately following the services at the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens (1921 Ritner Hwy. Carlisle, PA 17013). Cemetery services with Full Military Honors. The Carlisle VFW (2104 W Trindle Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013) will be providing food and beverages between 3:00 and 6:00 PM for all who wish to attend.

The family wishes to express their thanks to Hospice of Central PA and the Angels on Call for their care of Paul and the family during this difficult time.
