Nancy L. Hallock

Nancy L. Hallock, age 71, of Linthicum, MD, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born March 24, 1946 in Williamsport to the late Frank and Christine (Lapka) Luke.
Nancy was a graduate of Lycoming College where she worked her way through school as secretary to the school’s president. During her time there, she played a role in helping to have a building built for the school. She spent her entire life working as a teacher and even taught music during her retirement. Nancy loved animals (she had 4 Shelties) and rescued birds, having as many as 30 at one time. She enjoyed taking cruises and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Arundel #80, Glen Burnie, MD and Chapter #70, Meshoppen, PA.
She is survived by: her husband of 13 ½ years, Robert W. Hallock of Linthicum, MD; three children, Nathaniel (and wife Lenea) Brotzman of Lynchburg, VA, Verien (and wife Jen) Brotzman of Havertown, PA and Thane Brotzman of Laceyville, PA; and three grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jaelyn and Josef Brotzman, all of Lynchburg, VA. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her aunt, Elizabeth.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Wildwood Cemetery, 1151 Cemetery Street, Williamsport, PA.
