Nancy E. Stuck

August 7, 1935 — December 13, 2020

Nancy E. Stuck, 85, of Carlisle and formerly of Harrisburg, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 in her home.
She was born August 7, 1935 in Harrisburg to the late Pierce and Hazel (Flenner) Hunsicker and was the widow of Ellis E. Stuck.
Nancy graduated from William Penn High School in the class of 1953. She was an accomplished musician who taught piano lessons and could play anything with a keyboard. Nancy was currently a member of Carlisle First Church of the Brethren where she served as the organist. She belonged to many women’s masonic organizations and served several of them in a leadership capacity. Nancy was also a member of the Molly Pitcher Stitchers. She enjoyed anything she could do with her hands, especially knitting, crocheting, and cross stitching. Nancy retired from Capital Blue Cross after many years of service.
She is survived by her two loving children, Susan (husband Chester) Scott of Carlisle and Stephen Stuck (companion Paula Foley) of Milroy; six grandchildren, Jason, Mark, Jeremy, Adriene, David, and Mark; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Eloise Frey.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family at Carlisle First Church of the Brethren, with pastor Douglas Miller officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church on Saturday, December 19, 2020. As mandated by Governor Wolfe maximum capacity during gatherings is restricted and you may be asked to wait at the door when you arrive until the numbers allow for your entrance.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Nancy to Carlisle First Church of the Brethren, 1340 Forge Road Carlisle, PA 17013 or to the Carlisle Lions Club, c/o Jay McBride Jr., 45 Summerfield Drive Carlisle, PA 17015.
