Nancy E. Stone

Nancy E. Stone, age 84, of Rimersburg, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the Clarion Hospital, Clarion, PA.
She was born February 3, 1934 in Carlisle to the late Carl T. Sr. and Ela (Lamma) Marston and was the widow of Clayton E. Stone, who passed in July 1987.
Nancy retired from Knouse Foods, Peach Glen after over 40 years of service. She enjoyed cooking, baking and birdwatching. Her loving family meant the most to her.
She is survived by: two sons, Larry (wife Angel) Stone of Rimersburg and Carl Stone of Carlisle; one sister, Mary “Peggy” Marston of Carlisle; five grandchildren, Harley, Abigail, Clinton, Lydia and Sarah; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by: two brothers, Douglas Marston and Carl T. Marston, Jr.; two sisters, Romaine White and Helen Marston; and her companion of 22 years, Alvin D. Knaub.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the services.
