Milton A. "Jake" Jacoby

Milton A. "Jake" Jacoby, 80 of Clayton, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, October 6, 2016 surrounded by his family at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield, NC.
Jake was born in Boiling Springs on June 23, 1936 to the late Mae and Arthur Jacoby.
He retired from IBM in Kingston, NY with over 25 years of service. Jake was a former Deacon at North Ridge Church. As a long time member there, he made Bible seeding trips to Taiwan, and Barcelona, Spain.
Jake is survived by his wife of 19 years, Linda Lewis Jacoby; his children, J. Scot (Christine) Jacoby of Poughkeepsie, NY, Melissa (Pamela) Jacoby of Chesterfield, MA and Matthew (Karen) Jacoby of Cary, NC; grandchildren, Brian (Katie) Jacoby of Durham, NC, Kevin Jacoby and Thomas Jacoby, both of Cary; brothers, Charles (Joy) Jacoby of Camp Hill and Merle (Gloria) Jacoby of Landisburg; and a sister, Helen Clouse of Littlestown. Jake was predeceased by the mother of his children, Nancy Johnson Jacoby.
Services were held in Raleigh, NC. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle, PA.
