Mildred B. Tritt

Mildred B. Tritt, age 80, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at her residence.
She was born on February 17, 1935 in Fannett Township, Franklin County, PA to the late Nelson and Mattilda Hopple Hammond and was the widow of the late Henry S. Tritt who passed away in 2001.
Mildred was a wonderful homemaker who also worked at the Naval Depot in Mechanicsburg for 10 years and then as a personal caregiver. She was an awesome sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her son, Harry S. Tritt; daughters, Lydia F. Mogel, Terrie McCollum, Trudy Oliver and Mary Long; sisters, Elizabeth Naugle, Louise Peterson and Mabel Whisler; brothers, Harvey Hammond and Bill Hammond, Sr.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Cornerstone Chapel of Hope, 2637 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, PA 17013 with her son, Harry S. Tritt officiating.
